Navigating Your Next Steps

  • Two parties work out an agreement together and manage their divorce themselves. You may, or may not, have a consulting attorney and/or a financial neutral (or advocate).

  • Two parties work with an independent, third-party mediator to assist in producing an agreement acceptable by both parties. You may, or may not, have a consulting attorney and/or a financial neutral (or advocate) present with you, or supporting you in the background.

  • Two parties work with a team or professionals to reach a divorce settlement agreement. Each party is accompanied by their consulting attorney. Additionally a financial professional (neutral) and mental health professional (neutral or one for each party) work on the team to support a mutually agreed upon settlement by both parties.

  • Two parties bring their case to the court where a judge will determine the division of assets, child custody and more. Each party may or may not have a litigating attorney.

Hired by one party to assist in dividing the assets and liabilities.


Fees

Kimberly’s billing rate is $250/hr., with the average case estimated at 10-hours of work from start-to-finish. This of course depends on the complexity of the case, along with the agreeability and flexibility of both parties.
